As development ramped up the team at Whistle couldn’t wait to release the mobile iOS and Android applications, having completed multiple research, 6,000 surveys and identified key user needs. Whistle paid special attention to beta testing, where real users would be invited to test the product in a live environment for the first time!
Beta testing is one of the most important parts in the product development and the purpose for Whistle during this phase, was to ensure the team can capture any glitches and provide the best user experience when fully released.
With special thanks to New Mexico Athletics Association, who trusted and participated in testing Whistle, the basic functionalities within the applications were put through their paces by inviting all 1,400 members from the New Mexico Officials Association to take part.
As a result, the team were able to collect invaluable feedback along with feature suggestions from these dedicated users, to help fine tune the service to the best of standards. Any flaws or bugs that sometimes go unnoticed when testing in-house were spotted and fixed, key features were improved and by using dedicated analytic tools the team were able to take account of what each tester experienced while using Whistle, observing patterns, behaviors and trends that is a crucial step to its release and ultimately improves your experience of Whistle today!
